Chilean social and environmental impact fund Impacta VC announced the close of its first fund, a $7M fund to back early-stage startups.
The fund will focus on helping early-stage startups with average ticket sizes between $100K to $400K with the potential to invest up to $1M.
66 limited partners from 6 countries invested in the fund, 80% of whom are founders themselves, such as Eduardo Della Maggiora (Betterfly), Matias Muchnick (NotCo), and Alejandro Silberstein (Raya).
Impacta VC has invested in eight startups to date and plans to invest in 10 more from their first fund.
