inDrive launches Aurora Ventures

inDrive launched Aurora Ventures, an investment program focused on women-led startups in emerging markets. The initiative plans to invest up to $250,000 per startup in early-stage companies across Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.

inDrive became a unicorn in 2021 after raising $150 million. It now operates in 48 countries and more than 1,100 cities, offering ride-hailing, delivery, and financial services.

Aurora Ventures will run as a pilot program in 2026 and expects to complete five to seven investments this year.

In Latin America, Aurora Ventures will prioritize fintech companies focused on unbanked populations and microbusiness lending. Beyond capital, Aurora Ventures will offer mentorship, investor introductions, and operational support.

The initiative operates under New Ventures, inDrive’s investment and M&A division, launched in 2023. inDrive committed up to $100 million to startup investments through the unit.
