Latamlist roundup March 1st – 18th: Nubank partners with Arcus to launch cash deposit network in Mexico

The first half of March brought news from Mexico, Peru and Ecuador. Here are the product launches, partnerships, and expansions we saw in the last two weeks.

Partnerships

  1. Nubank announced a partnership with Arcus by Mastercard to launch a cash deposit network at over 700 Soriana stores in Mexico.This service will be rolled out in phases, starting with a trial group of customers, and allows for deposits of up to MXN 5,000 (US $297)  per transaction without the need for a physical card. Launches

  1. Peruvian digital wallet Yape launched Yape Empresa, a new feature in its app that allows business owners to create separate profiles for their employees and manage permissions easily. Read more on Latamfintech Hub.

Expansions

  1. Colombian fintech Kuadra announced its expansion to Ecuador. Kuadra provides an all-in-one business management and financing platform for small business owners in Latin America. Read more on Latamfintech Hub.
