Latitud to invest $500 K in eight idea‑stage founders

Latin America-focused pre‑seed fund Latitud opened applications for its Latitud SF Fellowship. Through the program, Latitud will invest $500 K total across eight idea-stage founders.

“Early Latin‑American founders rarely get capital before they even have a deck,” said General Partner Tomas Roggio. “The SF Fellowship closes that gap by funding and giving them nine weeks to reach a first validation.”

Selected founders receive $62.5K in exchange for 2.5 % equity in their startup via SAFE and join a hybrid, nine‑week program with sessions in São Paulo, Mexico City, and San Francisco.

Applications are open until August 1, 2025. Latitud says it will prioritize ideas that leverage artificial intelligence, aiming to fast‑track globally competitive products.

Latitud’s alumni, including Alinea Health, BHub, Finkargo, and Pomelo, have raised more than $1 B since the platform launched in 2020; an earlier 2025 cohort graduated 11 pre‑founders.
