clicOH, the integrated logistics startup for ecommerce will invest $5 million to incorporate best practices in the Peruvian market. Present in Chile since 2021, the brand offers same day delivery in the Metropolitan Region.
Peru’s ecommerce is strengthened by the arrival of clicOH, speeding up deliveries and improving the shopping experience of thousands of Latin American consumers who choose online stores, marketplaces and platforms to purchase products. The startup already has presence in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay and Colombia.
With the $5 million investment, cllicOH plans to boost ecommerce in Peru. The startup already has a first distribution center in the district of Barranco with the capacity to move between 5,000 and 7,000 packages per day.
Its client portfolio includes, among others, Falabella, Mercadolibre and Linio.
“The Andean Region represents one of the most promising markets for technology-based startups, especially in data science. For this reason after entering Chile and Colombia, the next step to strengthen the presence in the region was to launch Peru. We seek to solve the needs of many companies, online stores and companies with omnichannel sales in Peru so that they can focus on what they do best: selling their products, “
said Camilo Arango, manager for the Andean region of clicOH.
Backed by a $25 million investment obtained last May in its first Series A round, led by Tiger Global Management (the same investor Kavak, Mercado Libre and Despegar), clicOH provides companies with a technological solution capable of end-to-end control of the logistical process involved: storing, picking, packing, shipping and managing returns with real-time traceability. Companies can completely delegate the logistics activity to clicOH and concentrate on just selling or choose to hire one of these services to operate efficiently and avoid delays in their deliveries.
The presence of clicOH in Peru is part of an expansion plan in the region that has been developing strongly since last year, when after operating for two years in Argentina, the founders decided to settle in Mexico to take the company to the rest of Latin America. At the beginning of 2022, it entered Chile and last September, clicOH bought LOGYSTO, one of the leading logistics companies for ecommerce in Colombia.
