Lotux VC, a Mexico-based early-stage investor, closed its second fund to continue investing in pre-seed founders in Latin America. Lotux has made five investments from the new fund so far and expects to back another 15 startups over the next 18 months.
“We believe the most scalable companies in Latin America are built by founders committed to improving people’s lives,” said Lotux Managing Partner Mat Gantar.
Launched in 2019, Lotux invests $50K to $100K tickets in startups across fintech, insurtech, logistics, e-commerce, edtech, and healthtech.
Lotux has backed 17 companies so far, including Clivi, Anyone AI, Hilos, and Prosperia. Lotux’s second fund will continue expanding the portfolio across Latin America.
