Spanish startup ByHours raises US$3M to fund Latin American expansion

ByHours helps travelers book micro-stays in hotels with packages for 3, 6, and 12 hour visits. Available in over 2500 hotels across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, ByHours allows users to access all the services of a hotel during a stopover, no matter how short.

PulsoSocial reports that ByHours recently raised a US$3M round, led by Swiss investor Investiere, two super angels from Abu Dhabi, Howzat Partners, and HR Ventures. Since ByHours was founded in 2012, it has raised over US$7M in capital to expand internationally. In 2017, they launched a mobile app for their service, which now has over 200,000 users.

ByHours is currently available in Colombia, Uruguay, and Argentina, and is looking to Chile, Brazil, and the United States for its next Latin American expansion.
