Tickeri is the largest US-based ticket sales platform that targets the US Latino market. Tickeri has recently partnered with Bandsintown, a concert discovery platform, to allow ticket purchases from the largest directory of Latino events in the US, directly within the Bandsintown app.
This new feature uses Braintree Extend to create a seamless in-app purchasing process that closes the gap between event discovery and ticket purchasing, specifically for a Latino audience. The Latino and Spanish-speaking market in the US has been historically underserved by the growing tech industry and this update will significantly improve online experiences for the Latino community.
Said Tickeri CTO and Co-Founder Javier Gonzalez:
“Strategic partnerships with key brands like Bandsintown allow Latinos to finally feel represented in mainstream technologies within the US. While the Latino population and purchasing power is growing massively, technology and media have under-served the Latino community for years. It’s refreshing to see Latinos have a voice in the innovation of services and products that impact our community across the US.”
While user experience has become a focus of the mainstream market, it has not yet been integrated well into services that specifically target Latino content and interests. This expanded partnership is considered a watershed, leading the way to more streamlined and user-centric online experiences for the US Latino community.
