LatAm List – The founding partner of EADBOX, Nilson Filatieri, and the founder of Edools, Rafael Carvalho, have joined forces. EADBOX and Edools, both edtech startups in the long-distance education market, have merged to create HeroSpark.
Filatieri was appointed CEO, and Carvalho, COO.Ā
“Our starting point for the development of HeroSpark is the dissemination of knowledge. Having the two main startups join forces was the way for the link to be consolidated. Our goal is to give all support to entrepreneurs who wish to monetize through their expertise, regardless of their area of āāexpertise,ā said Filatieri in an interview with StartUpi.Ā
The former competitors now have over 1,600 clients, 6 million students and are used in 21 countries. The headquarters in Curitiba houses more than 150 employees.Ā
