LatAm List – ClassPass, a worldwide leading fitness and wellness platform, recently announced the acquisition of MuvPass, one of Chile’s top fitness platforms, along with the acquisition of ClickyPass, a leading fitness network in Argentina.
MuvPass offers a monthly subscription service that gives users access to hundreds of gyms and sports centers. The acquisitions are part of ClassPass’ strategic plans to expand throughout Latin America after entering the Brazilian market.

Founded in 2016 by Javier Araya, Mariano Delpech, Nicolás del Pozo, and Juan Pablo Hinrichsen, MuvPass previously raised funds from UDD Ventures and has experienced exponential growth in the past years.
ClassPass, recently raised a $285M Series E led by L Catterton and Apax Digital, receiving a valuation of more than one billion dollars and becoming the first unicorn of the decade. The platform offers its users access to over 30,000 gyms and sports centers, which they can also access in 30 countries across 5 continents if they sign up for a global membership.
