Cuéntame, a Mexican startup, has closed a $1.1M pre-seed round. Impacta VC was the lead investor, and other participants were Colectivo Jaguara, 99 Startups, Fondation Botnar & New Ventures, Pareto20 and Investo.
Cuéntame is a mental health technology platform that supports companies in generating mentally healthy environments through technology and data analysis. The platform works with artificial intelligence and provides tailored wellness resources for each individual.
“What we are looking for is for organizations to prevent staff turnover due to burnout, increase engagement in the workplace and drive a wellness culture that inspires and motivates people in their respective companies,” says Cuéntame’s CEO Regina Athié.
With this new funding, the startup will consolidate its presence in Mexico, Colombia and Chile. The company also plans to improve its algorithm by incorporating machine learning technology.
