Saludtools, a software for medical offices and clinics, acquired the Colombian clinic management software Netmedik. The undisclosed deal has positioned Saludtools as a leading player in the country’s healthcare sector.
“We aim to improve the experience, functionalities, and technological capabilities to build systems that speed up, simplify, and optimize medical practice and health systems, providing greater benefits for professionals and patients alike,” said Alexander Arango, NedMedick’s cofounder.
“Thanks to this deal, we have expanded our customer base by over 30% and established a strong presence in areas where we previously had limited presence,” said Camilo Naranjo, Saludtools’s founder and CEO to Forbes.
This acquisition represents a significant development in the Colombian healthcare market, marking the first known transaction in the sector.
