Spanish-based digital bank Openbank signed an alliance with fintech GOcuotas to provide debit card financing in Argentina. Through this partnership, customers can purchase clothing, footwear, electronics, and cosmetics from multiple brands with interest-free installments.
“At Openbank, we want to partner with companies that provide safe, quick, and easy financial solutions to meet user needs. Both of us are 100% digital and nationwide, which allows us to enhance our reach throughout the country,” said Federico Procaccini, CEO of Openbank Argentina.
Openbank is a subsidiary of Grupo Santander and Spain’s first 100% digital bank. The bank began its expansion in LATAM, arriving in Argentina last year.
GOcuotas is an Argentine buy-now-pay-later that allows users to finance purchases with debit cards in 2, 3, and 4 interest-free installments.
