Mercado Pago partnered with Siigo to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Colombia.
This alliance provides a solution that integrates digital payment options into customer-generated sales invoices. Moreover, it automates the reconciliation of payments received through Mercado Pago. In Siigo, when an SME receives a digital payment, the system automatically links it to a cash receipt and updates the accounting records.
“Our partnership with Siigo provides businesses with access to electronic payroll and billing solutions within minutes. This ensures efficient payments while maintaining transaction security,” said Marco Toschi, Head of Online Payments at Mercado Pago Colombia
Since its launch earlier this year, this partnership has facilitated transactions exceeding $1 M through the online payment button provided by Mercado Pago on Siigo’s platform.
