Open English, a global leader in online English education in Latin America, has teamed up with Brazilian soccer sensation Richarlison, aiming to provide English courses to underprivileged Brazilian youth.
Richarlison, who currently plays as the number 9 for the Brazilian national team and Tottenham Hotspurs, will not only serve as an ambassador but also as a student for Open English. The collaboration is set to donate $400,000 worth of English courses, marking this as the most significant social initiative by Open English in Brazil.
Richarlison’s commitment to societal causes and his genuine interest in learning English were pivotal reasons for Open English choosing him as an ambassador.
“When I was a boy, I didn’t have the opportunity to study English…That’s why I am very happy with this partnership with Open English,” said Richarlison.
The partnership underscores Open English’s role as a disruptor in online English education, boasting over 2 million enrolled students across Latin America.
