Finkargo, a Colombian trade financing platform for SMEs, raised $20M in a series A round led by QED investors. Nazca Quona Capital, Flybridge, ONEVC, and Maya also participated in the round.
The company will use the funds to grow in Mexico by offering integrated trade services for importers, including supplier search, product verification, cargo insurance, and trade intelligence analysis.
“We are excited to join Finkargo’s vision and work closely with their team. The technology they have developed is driving unprecedented change in the dynamics of international trade in the region,” said Jaime Zunzunegui, Managing Partner at Nazca.
The company has assisted 250 clients and handled over 2,000 import transactions worth $200M. They also connect importers with a network of +550 suppliers in 40+ countries.
