Brazilian real estate-focused AI startup Plaza raised a $1M pre-seed led by Magma Partners. Latitud, Urca Angel, and other real estate investors Ernani Assis (ex-Grupo ZAP) and Leandro Abreu (Quinto Andar) also participated in the round.
“Our main goal with this funding is to improve our artificial intelligence so we can develop a solution that really helps real estate agencies and generates more business with fewer resources,” said Julio Viana, Plaza’s cofounder and CEO.
This year, Plaza has recorded over 30,000 interactions between potential tenants and real estate agencies, with an average response time of 15 seconds. “We have cases where our AI was able to achieve a 70% conversion rate from service inquiries to visits,” said Viana.
Plaza serves clients in Brazil like Remax, Zelo Imóveis, and Lopes Condessa, offering an AI-powered product that optimizes appointment scheduling, response times, lead qualification, and document validation.
Julio Viana, Pedro de Cicco, and Vicente Alencar founded Plaza in 2023. Before Plaza, Julio founded InfoProp (acquired by Grupo ZAP), de Cicco cofounded Brazilian fintech Rapidoo, and Alencar was Director of Advanced Analytics at Rappi.
