Bravo secures $27M from BBVA Spark

Mexican debt settlement startup Bravo, formerly Resuelve Tu Deuda, secured $27M from BBVA Spark to grow its credit division.

“BBVA Spark helps entrepreneurs and venture capital investors scale their businesses with financial services and debt. It supports Bravo’s approach to tackling overindebtedness, joining other trusted partners like GPF Capital, Cercano Capital, and Achieve,” said Roberto Albaladejo, Head of BBVA Spark.

Bravo helps people who can’t get out of debt settle amounts over $2.5K at a discount through personalized credit solutions. With its proprietary risk model, Bravo offers tailored support for personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, and store cards in Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Brazil.

Founded in 2009 by Javier Velasquez and Juan Pablo Zorrilla, Resuelve tu Deuda and its subsidiaries have settled over 380K debts valued at $1B and supported over 450K clients.
