Mexican neobank Klar launched a platinum credit card giving premium benefits for high-spending. The launch comes as Klar surpassed $985M in loans disbursed.
Klar’s offerings include checking accounts, investments, a credit card for first-time users, and an invitation-only platinum card. The platinum card provides credit limits starting at $2.4K, up to 6% cashback on purchases, and access to VIP airport lounges worldwide.
“Currently, a premium card costs an average of $150 annually and offers basic benefits. Klar delivers personalized experiences, security, and global acceptance, ensuring exceptional service that meets each user’s unique needs,” said Rafael Carvalho, Klar’s Chief Credit Officer.
Founded in 2019, Klar has 2M active users and aims to reach 10M in the next five years. The neobank reached break-even in September and is experiencing a 12% monthly growth.
