Plenna-cofounders

Mexican healthtech Plenna raised a $6M Series A led by Mazapil, Dalus Capital, New Ventures, Fondation Botnar, and Karla Berman. The investment follows Plenna’s seed round in December 2022.

Plenna addresses the gap in accessible, high-quality health care for women, providing access to gynecological, reproductive, psychological, and nutritional healthcare through a combination of physical clinics and online medical services.

Plenna will use the funds to enhance its technology and open 13 new clinics in Mexico.

“Our goal is to grow responsibly, leveraging AI to improve clinical processes while maintaining a patient-centered experience,” said Lorena Ostos, CEO and co-founder of Plenna.

Currently, 95% of Plenna’s patients are private-pay, primarily women aged 27–35, including professionals, students, and first-time mothers seeking personalized preventive care.
