Brazilian sports-tech startup FanBase raised $920K in a round led by DOMO.VC and OutField, with participation from Harvard Angels and existing investor Bossa Invest.

FanBase builds tools that help clubs and leagues connect directly with fans. FanBase’s suite includes Fan ID, a single sign-on that unifies a fan’s accounts; Fanbox, a platform that analyzes fan behavior to generate insights; and FanApp, a white-label app that brings together all the services and content for a club or sports entity in one place.

FanBase will use the funds to enhance its products, consolidate its market presence in Brazil, and accelerate international expansion plans.

FanBase works with major Brazilian teams like Vasco, Atlético Mineiro, Coritiba, Bahia, Ceará, and Avaí and organizations such as the Federação Paulista de Futebol, NBB (Novo Basquete Brasil), WSL (World Surf League), and CBV (Brazilian Volleyball Confederation). As part of its international expansion, FanBase recently added Atlético Nacional (Medellín, Colombia).

“We are building a new digital infrastructure for sports, one that makes the fan relationship more direct, intelligent, and profitable for clubs, while improving the supporter’s experience,“ said founder and CEO Rafael Mangabeira.
