Eden, a Mexican healthtech developing a cloud-native operating system for radiology, raised $22M in a Series A round led by Sierra Ventures, with participation from Liquid 2 Ventures and Daniel Servitje, CEO of Grupo Bimbo. This investment follows a $10M funding round in 2024

Eden provides a cloud-based RIS/PACS system that enables hospitals and clinics to manage imaging workflows without relying on local infrastructure. The system integrates AI tools to assist radiologists, reducing turnaround times and improving diagnostic accuracy.

“We are building the radiology operating system of reference for Latin America, where deep gaps in access to timely, high-quality diagnostics persist,” said JuliĂĄn RĂos CantĂș, CEO and cofounder of Eden. “This investment validates both the technological potential of our platform and the urgency of our mission to democratize access to health with cutting-edge tools.”

With the funds, Eden plans to expand into Colombia and other Latin American markets, enhance its AI-driven diagnostic capabilities, and scale its technological infrastructure to meet growing demand.

Eden currently operates in 18 countries and serves more than 2,200 medical institutions across Latin America. Eden’s system processes over 13 million medical studies each year.
