Conta Azul, a Brazilian financial management platform for small and medium-sized businesses, acquired Mister Contador, a cloud-based accounting automation platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2012, Conta Azul provides financial management software for Brazilian SMBs. The company has since expanded its platform to include accounting, tax management, and payroll services. Mister Contador develops cloud-based accounting automation software that can process thousands of accounting records in seconds.
The acquisition supports Conta Azul’s growth strategy following its acquisition by European business software group Visma in 2025. By integrating Mister Contador’s automation technology, Conta Azul aims to expand its platform for entrepreneurs and accountants, reduce manual accounting work, and improve tax compliance.
Mister Contador’s customers will gradually migrate to Conta Azul’s infrastructure over the coming months. The company’s employees and leadership team will remain in place throughout the transition.
