Alice raises $40M Series D led by IFC

Brazilian healthtech Alice raised $40M in a Series D round led by the International Finance Corporation. DEG, Finnfund, and existing investors Kaszek, ThornTree Capital, and Canary also participated. The investment follows Alice’s Series C in 2021.

Alice provides health insurance that combines medical care, technology, and patient data. Alice uses AI to improve patient care, automate administrative tasks, and reduce operating costs.

Alice will use the funding to expand its AI capabilities, including Alice AI, an assistant integrated into its app. The assistant will use patients’ medical records to provide personalized guidance and connect members with telemedicine services, specialists, and hospitals.

Alice serves more than 100,000 members, up from approximately 6,000 in 2021. Its annual recurring revenue exceeds $220M, with annual growth of approximately 70%.
