Turismoi is one of the largest tourism platforms in the Ibero-American region, with tours in Spain, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. The platform allows independent operators to list their tours and activities for over 10 million users who reach the site through diverse channels. Turismoi recently received an undisclosed investment from Axon Partners Group through its Amerigo Ventures Pacifico I Fund and Top Seeds Lab through its vehicle Travel Tech I SCR.
The tourism industry represents up to 9% of the GDP of the LatAm region and employs around 8% of the working age population. Turismoi is helping digitalize a market that is still relatively fragmented and opaque for travelers. The investment will be used to triple the size of Turismoi’s catalogue, as well as expanding operations to Mexico, Argentina, and Chile.
