Ambar, a Brazilian startup that focuses on construction tech, has raised $36M in a Series C round. The round was led by Echo Capital, Oria Capital, and counted with the participation of TPG Capital, Argonautic Ventures and others.
Founded in 2013, the company leverages technology to effectively process civil construction projects. Ambar is not a general contractor, since its business core is to partner with those companies that do construction. Instead, they offer several services, including a Building Information Modelling (BIM), workflow management tools, and a marketplace platform.
The company’s CEO, Bruno Balbinot, commented that this funding will allow Ambar to boost the digitization segment of the business, which strongly needs to be expanded in Latin America.
The CEO also added the following: “We are going to double the number of simultaneous construction works with applied Ambar products and win 970 new clients in 2022”
