Avista closes a $22.5M debt facility from Accial Capital

The Colombian fintech Avista announced the closing of a $22.5 million debt facility from Accial Capital.

Avista offers financial services to low-income people through digital credit whose payments can be discounted directly from pension allowances or payrolls.

The resources will be used to increase loan availability to financially underserved pensioners.

“We believe that we must continue our strategy focused on profitability and 100% digital experiences for our clients to maintain our leadership in the market”, said Martín Restrepo, CEO of Avista

Since its founding in 2019, Avista has raised over $250M. With this new debt facility, the company expects to loan U$100M at the end of the year, reaching a loan portfolio of close to US$210M, focused on the silver economy segment.
