Mexican fintech Belvo announced the launch of two new features in Colombia: automatic debit (or direct debit) and automatic payments from account to account, offering an alternative to credit cards in pre-approved chargings.
“Bank payments from account to account are becoming the obvious alternative to credit cards concerning recurring operations and we are thrilled to promote its use in Colombia with our technology, which will enable millions of people to make daily payments more comfortably, as well as to give companies more efficient tools to speed up their collection operations,” said David Ballesteros, General Manager of Belvo in Colombia.
Belvo provides open finance solutions, enabling companies to access and interpret financial data easily and to offer enhanced financial products.
Founded in 2019, Belvo launched in Mexico and is now present in Brazil and Colombia.
