Brazilian Fintech Qi Tech acquired Singulare, a leading Brazilian stockbroker. This acquisition strengthens Qi Tech’s newly launched Distribuidora de Títulos de Valores Mobiliários (DTVM) as a service unit.

In August, Qi Tech became the first fintech to obtain dual licenses as a Securities Dealer and Broker, approved by Brazil’s Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) and Anbima. Today, the fintech operates in four areas: DTVM, Banking as a Service (BaaS), Loans as a Service (LaaS), and KYC (Know Your Customer).

Singulare, formerly Socopa and part of Banco Paulista, recently focused on fiduciary management services following the sale of its retail and brokerage portfolio to XP. The stockbroker manages nearly $19B across 960 funds.

Founded in 2018, Qi Tech is the first direct credit company approved by the Central Bank of Brazil and serves 300 clients.
