Brazilian startup Culttivo secured a $14.5M round from FIAgro.
The funds will provide over 500 new credits to small and medium coffee producers.
“Today, over 85% of coffee producers in Brazil are SMEs. This is why we designed a product tailored to meet their needs,” said Culttivo’s CEO and cofounder Gustavo Foz.
Culttivo is a digital platform that provides credit solutions to coffee producers and has two credit lines: one for financing production expenses, such as labor and harvesting, and the other for storing production to secure a better future selling price.
Founded in 2020, Culttivo has lent over $15.5M with an average of $83,000 in each loan.
