Cenit, a Chilean mobile platform that automates tax management for freelancers and small businesses, raised a $1.8M seed round led by Hi Ventures.
Cenit connects directly with tax authorities, downloads invoices and financial records, calculates taxes in real time, and enables users to file and pay with one click. The subscription service ranges from $10 to $15 per month and includes a two-month free trial.
Cenit will use the funds to accelerate product development and support its expansion in Mexico and Chile. The platform is already available for iOS and will soon launch on Android.
Founded by Andrés Liberman and Ronny González, Cenit has more than 200 users in Chile. About 25% use the app daily, and roughly half log in at least once a week.
