Chazki, the Peruvian startup specializing in transportation and delivery services for e-commerce and retail, merged with Lok, a Mexican startup specializing in smart locker delivery networks.
The merger aims to consolidate Chazki’s position as a logistics service in Latin America and expand its presence in Mexico, with plans to triple its market share in the next two years.
By integrating Lok’s out-of-home (OOH) infrastructure and network, customers can receive and return packages at smart lockers nearby. This alliance also reduces shipping costs and carbon emissions from last-mile delivery.
“Lockers and delivery points are especially useful in densely populated areas where recipients are not always home to receive packages. It also improves the return process,” said Gonzalo Begazo, CEO and Founder of Chazki.
Founded in 2014, Chazki operates in 25 cities across Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, and Chile. It aims to tap into the first and last-mile logistics market in Latin America, estimated to be worth $117 billion.
