Chilean fintech Colaboramed raised $1M in a round led by U-Payments, valuing Colaboramed at $8.8M.
Colaboramed is the fintech arm of AMOL, Agenda Medica online. AMOL developed Colaboramed as a healthcare fintech solution to allow users to make payments, accumulate points, and receive bonuses within a network of healthcare providers.
Founded by Chilean entrepreneurs Ingrid Müller and Sergio Bustamante in 2021, Colaboramed utilizes technology to streamline medical access with co-pay assistance. The fintech model provides users points from purchases they make with the card, helping offset co-payments.
The prepaid card awaits approval from the CMF to start operations in October 2024.
