LatamList – Top, a Colombian employee recruitment platform, raised $300K in pre-Seed funding. Among the investors participating in this round was Magma Partners, along with various angel investors including members of the Rappi founding team, co-founders of Truora, co-founders of OmniLatam, and co-founders of Platzi.
Top facilitates recruitment processes for business through its online platform that handles everything from scouting and hiring to the payroll. In the age of remote working, the digital platform facilitates companies to expand their executive teams globally and remain connected.
In only three months of operations, the platform has seen more than $55K in transactions across 20 different countries. The startup already counts major companies such as Rappi, Ayenda Hoteles, iFood, and Truora among its clientele.
“The funding round includes mainly solo founders who give us access to knowledge and first-hand experience from working with their business,” said Santiago Aparicio, CEO of Top.
Access to the Top platform is obtained with a monthly subscription of $29. Through the platform, companies have access to recruitment markets in more than 150 countries.
“It is a way of democratizing the recruitment process, enabling companies to hire talent from across the world,” continued Aparicio.
Top is headed by Santiago Aparicio and Julián Torres, also co-founders of Fitpal, and Jaime Abella.
