Mexican pet tech Cuida Mi Mascota acquired competitor Tu Mejor Amigo for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition is expected to create cross-selling opportunities between the two companies, to continue expanding in the Mexican market.
Federico Aracre, Co-founder of Tu Mejor Amigo, expressed confidence that leveraging cross-selling between the two entities will enhance business outcomes and emphasized that loyal supporters will reap significant rewards as Cuida Mi Mascota experiences growth.
Tu Mejor Amigo was founded early in 2023 by Ignacio Poli, Federico Aracre, and Ignacio Zanotto. Following the acquisition, Ignacio Zanotto, CTO of Tu Mejor Amigo, will become Chief Product Officer of Cuida Mi Mascota. Aracre and Poli will explore other projects.
