TiZKKA was founded in 2014 as a platform that brings together fashion enthusiasts and experts to create a dialogue about trends in the fashion industry. Since then it has registered more than 1.4 million users in 100 countries and has raised US$1.26M in three rounds from Capital Invent, On Ventures, and Revolution.
TiZKKA recently revealed that they were acquired for an undisclosed sum by popular Mexican culture blog, Cultura Colectiva. Cultura Colectiva creates content for an audience of over 30.5 million followers on social media.
The acquisition is considered a partnership, as TiZKKA’s founders, Gabriel Roizner and Nathan Schorr, will take over as directors of the magazine’s fashion section. Said Roizner in the original article for PulsoSocial:
“TiZKKA’s technology, our trajectory, and our audience are a perfect complement for an area that Cultura Colectiva is just starting to explore and we will be able to work together to provide better content for our audiences.”
TiZKKA was voted as one of the top ten most innovative startups in Latin America by Fast Company in 2016.
