Brazilian unicorn Dock has announced its partnership with the digital bank Tenpo to enter the Chilean market.
Dock will supply the financial infrastructure behind the issuing and processing technology that Tenpo is using for its new credit cards.
“We are excited to introduce our new credit card and to continue creating a full range portfolio of financial products and services never seen before in the country,” said Fernando Araya, Co-founder and CEO of Tenpo.
Dock is a Banking as a Service (BaaS) startup that offers an extensive array of banking solutions to B2B clients, including payment processing, card issuing, fraud management, and more. Tenpo is the largest digital bank in Chile, with 2.2M active users.
This expansion marks Dock’s ninth market, serving over 70M customers and processing more than $240B in transactions annually.
