EFEX, a Mexico-based financial platform focused on global treasury and cross-border payments for mid-market companies, raised an $8M seed round co-led by PayPal Ventures and Floodgate. Contour Venture Partners and Nido Ventures also participated.
EFEX provides infrastructure for global treasury management, local collections, and multi-currency payment flows. Its platform supports companies that manage international payments and treasury operations across several currencies.
With the funds, EFEX will integrate artificial intelligence into its operations and streamline treasury workflows for companies operating in Mexico and the US
EFEX reported strong growth. Revenue increased sixfold in 2025, and the company processed more than $1 billion in payment volume during the year.
