LatAm List – Mosyle, a Brazilian Mobile Device Management (MDM) software company for Apple devices in schools and districts, recently announced a US$16M Series A investment led by VC firms, Elephant and Peak Ventures.
The company is rapidly expanding into the enterprise market as it builds on the success of its first product, Mosyle Manager by introducing Mosyle Business, its Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution for Apple devices. Mobile Business offers a series of features including scalable, over-the-air (OTA) management for all iOS, macOS and tvOS devices.
“Apple devices have been gaining market share in enterprise environments as companies increasingly deploy iOS and macOS as their official workplace platforms as well as provide support for employees who prefer to use their own Apple devices,” said Jeremiah Daly, founder and general partner at Elephant. “We’re excited to invest in Mosyle as it continues to emerge as the leading Apple MDM vendor in education and leverages its product expertise to solve the needs of the enterprise market.”
Since its launch in April 2016, Mosyle Manager has been incorporated into 8,500 schools, offering its services to over 1.5 million teachers and students in every state in the U.S. and in over 70 countries.
