Funcional Health Tech acquired BeFlex, a corporate multi-benefits card provider with over 70 corporate clients and 20K active users. The transaction is part of Funcional Health Tech’s strategy to grow in the corporate benefits sector, as they plan to reach 3M users by 2025.
With the acquisition, Funcional will integrate BeFlex’s clients and expand its offerings to create customized benefits packages with services such as food, transportation, and fitness.
Funcional Health Tech offers Funcional Multi, a platform for corporate wellness, that combines pharmacy benefits, health incentives, and HR analytics into one solution.
Funcional currently serves around 500 companies including Ambev, Claro, Raízen, Sanofi and Votorantim, reaching 13M people monthly and expects to reach $200M in transactions by 2025.
