Girasol Payment Solutions, a payments company based in Curaçao, acquired the Colombian fintech Finzi. Finzi was founded in 2021 and offers bank accounts, Visa debit cards, microcredits, utility payments and gaming subscriptions.
“Colombia has always been one of the markets with the greatest interest for Girasol and being able to enter the market with FinZi excites us very much,” said Marwan Rozier, CEO and founder of Girasol Payment Solutions.
After the acquisition, FinZi will maintain its focus on offering digital wallet services to its user base and plans to reach 1M users by the end of 2024.
