Argentine HR startup Humand raised $66M in a Series A round led by Kaszek Ventures and Goodwater Capital. Newtopia VC, Y Combinator, Arash Ferdowsi, Sebastián Mejía, Rajat Suri, and Marcos Galperin also participated.
Humand provides management and recruiting tools for employees who do not work at desks or in corporate offices. Humand serves industries such as logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality, where many workers lack corporate email accounts or computers. The platform includes 20 modules, including chat, leave management, goals and OKRs, attendance tracking, and internal communications.
Humand will use the funds to expand in Brazil, the US, and Asia, and to develop AI agents that automate employee onboarding. Humand also plans to enhance its AI tool, Sammy AI, to respond to employee requests using company data.
Founded by Nicolás Benenzon and Gerónimo Maspero, Humand serves more than 1.6 million users across 51 countries, employs 420 people, and plans to grow its Brazil team from 20 to 50 employees by December.
