US based dish delivery and pick-up startup Hungry House merged with Peruvian food tech startup MegaBite to create BiteLabs. BiteLabs will leverage knowledge sharing and collaboration between Hungry House and Megabite, who will continue to operate under their own names. Hungry House brings B2B and catering experience, while MegaBite provides data-driven hyper personalization expertise.
“We aim to significantly increase our revenue performance and work toward world-class unit economics across our soon-to-be 15 locations from the US to Latin America,” said Pedro Neira, former Co-Counder and CEO of MegaBite and current Co-Founder and CEO of BiteLabs.
Founded in 2021 and with operations in the US, Hungry House partners with chefs to create exclusive menus for takeaway, delivery, and catering. Hungry House operates the kitchen, while the chefs focus on promoting the menu.
MegaBite was founded in 2020 and operates a digital delivery platform that uses data to tailor the user experience for each client.
Currently, BiteLabs has 13 locations in the US, Mexico, and Peru, and annual revenues of $6M.
