Impact startup raises $12M

LatAm, an international social enterprise based in Mexico City, works with smallholder farmers and provides access to innovative biodigester technology, training, and financing in order to improve the farm’s sustainability and efficiency. The efforts of address global challenges like climate change, poverty, and food security. 

Following a recent investment round where raised $12M, the company released this statement to Yahoo Finance:

Shell Foundation, DILA CAPITAL, Engie RDE Fund, EcoEnterprise Fund, EDFIMC (ElectriFI), Endeavor Catalyst Fund, CoCapital, Triodos, Alpha Mundi, and Lendahand are among the investors and creditors participating in the round.”

With the new capital, will be able to impact two lakh smallholder farmers in India, Kenya, Mexico, and South America with biodigester technology over the next three years.
