Instacart, a US retail technology company, acquired Instaleap, a Colombia-founded e-commerce enablement and fulfillment platform operating in nearly 30 countries. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Instaleap provides software for supermarkets, pharmacies, and retailers to manage orders, logistics, picking, and customer experience across digital channels. Its clients include Cencosud (Jumbo), Éxito, Makro, Continente, Jerónimo Martins, Lulu, and SPAR.
The acquisition expands Instacart’s reach beyond North America, where it partners with more than 2,200 retail brands and nearly 100,000 stores. Instaleap adds operations and relationships across Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East, and will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary.
Founded in 2019 by Antonio dos Santos Nunes and Margarida Freitas, Instaleap has processed more than 100 million transactions and serves about 100 retailers and marketplaces. Instacart reported $1.09B in adjusted EBITDA in 2025, up 23% year over year, and handles about 312 million orders annually.
