Involves acquires Datamind to expand retail data intelligence in Latin America

Brazilian trade marketing technology company Involves acquired Chilean data intelligence startup Datamind for an undisclosed amount.

Datamind provides AI-powered data analytics to customers in the retail sector, helping businesses optimize inventory management and sales with predictive insights. 

Involves provides in-store marketing and retail solutions, using AI-powered shelf recognition and real-time performance tracking to help brands monitor product placement and improve sales strategies.

Involves will integrate Datamind’s data science expertise into its platform, automating data analysis and improving decision-making tools for brands and retailers.

“With this acquisition, we intend to consolidate our ecosystem in Latin America, combining internal development with strategic M&A,” said André Krummenauer, CEO of Involves.

Founded in 2008, Involves has completed four acquisitions to date, and its customer base includes brands like Unilever, Pepsico, Seara, and Heineken.
