Jelou, an Ecuadorian startup, raised $10M in a Series A round led by Wellington Access Ventures, with participation from Krealo and Collide Capital.
Jelou builds conversational infrastructure that connects AI agents directly to companies’ internal systems. Through its product, Brain, businesses can deploy agents on WhatsApp to interact with customers, collect missing information, verify identities, trigger payments, and execute financial workflows using real-time data. The platform includes a web-based studio with more than 3,000 integrations and a conversation management layer designed to supervise high-volume interactions.
With the funds, Jelou will expand its commercial presence across the Americas, accelerate product development, and strengthen integrations with banking and payment systems in multiple countries.
Founded in 2017 by Luis Loaiza and Alberto Vera, Jelou operates in more than 13 countries and serves over 500 enterprise customers in sectors including banking, retail, logistics, and consumer goods.
