Mexican healthtech company Koltin acquired Last Mile Care.
Koltin is building a technology-enabled healthcare platform to address fragmented systems, particularly for aging populations. Last Mile Care, founded by Mateo Hernández Romieu and Bernardo Alarcón Jiménez, offers specialized home visits, including infusions, therapies, and post-hospitalization care, at lower costs than traditional settings.
Through the acquisition, Koltin will integrate home visits into its clinical and telemedicine services. This move will allow closer patient monitoring and earlier intervention.
Following the transaction, Hernández Romieu will serve as Vice President of Patient Innovation, and Alarcón will lead Last Mile Care’s operations.
