Kravata raises $3.6M to expand in Latin America

Colombian fintech Kravata has closed a seed round. To date, between their pre-seed and seed rounds, they have raised 3.6M from 15 investment funds from the US, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, including Volt Capital, Framework Ventures, Circle Ventures, Magma Partners, and SIMMA Capital, among others.

With the funds, Kravata plans to expand its services to Mexico, Panama, Chile, and Brazil by the end of the year. Kravata projects a 30% monthly growth in 2024, targeting a 4X increase in transactional volume.

Kravata is a user-friendly and safe method to connect to Web3 with a Web2 experience. Through an interface or API, Kravata allows customers to effortlessly integrate the benefits of Web3 within their services without the burden of internal technological developments while having compliance and constant support every step of the way.

Founded by Felipe Montes and Juliana Montes, Kravata helped 20 clients in Colombia move $215M in its first year of operations. Kravata was also featured in the top 100 startups in the country by Forbes Colombia and is part of the prestigious Web3 accelerator, Alliance Dao.
