Latamlist Roundup December 1st – December 15th: Grupo Aval’s dale launches loan applications and investments

Payment fintechs took the spotlight in the first  half of December, with activity in Colombia, Brazil, and Chile. Here are the launches, partnerships, and expansions we saw in the last two weeks.

Launches

  1. Colombian multi-currency digital wallet Plenti launched a prepaid card for international shopping. Read more on LatamFintech Hub.
  2. Colombian digital wallet dale, owned by Grupo Aval, started offering loan applications and investments in partnership with Grupo Aval’s banks. Read more on LatamFintech Hub

  4. Brazilian payment infrastructure startup Horizon Pay launched PIXCard, a card that allows customers to pay in installments using Pix. Read more on LatamFintech Hub.

Partnerships

  1. Colombian payment management startup TumiPay partnered with Costa Rican micro loans startup Rayo to allow customers to access loans immediately through TumiPay’s platform. Read more on LatamFintech Hub.

Expansions

  1. Chilean proptech Busho, which allows customers to rent commercial properties, expanded to the US. Read more on DFSud
